Part of the mission of the Hollings Cancer Center is to advance the understanding of cancer. To that end, we seek to move beyond our hospitals and facilities into the communities we serve. Our community and outreach programs increase awareness and understanding of the importance of cancer prevention, early detection, and timely treatment. It also is important to us to support our cancer survivors, and we have a number of innovative programs. Finally, outreach is a two way initiative. We welcome area residents to join our volunteer program and join our efforts to make hope a reality. Prevention Our prevention programs include screening events, a mobile health unit, multiple breast cancer prevention programs, smoking cessation programs, and genetic counseling. | Legacy Mini-Grant Information* | RFA
